The Archadeck Design Process
Archadeck follows a systematic process in creating customized decks and outdoor living spaces. It all begins with a complimentary design consultation between the Archadeck franchise owner, design consultant and homeowner. The franchise owner works closely with each homeowner on design, project materials, architectural details and project amenities, as well as how the outdoor space will be integrated with the home and surrounding landscaping.
Clients are encouraged to peruse imagery from Archadeck project portfolios to view the wide array of design options. Following these consultations, the Archadeck design consultant presents a customized proposal and invites comments and further input. After a plan is finalized, Archadeck begins work on a functional, aesthetically pleasing outdoor space, keeping the homeowners up-to-date on each phase of construction.
The Archadeck Warranty and Maintenance Plan
The Archadeck Warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months and defects in structural fitness for 60 months. In addition, materials manufacturers’ warranties are transferred to the homeowner. Eligible Archadeck franchise owners also provide a third party, independent guarantee of project completion and warranty performance from the National Guarantee Corporation.

Archadeck was founded in 1980 by a former architect who wanted to bring additional flair to the design and building of decks. Due to high interest rates of the era and the decline of the construction industry, homeowners were no longer pursuing larger, expensive homes. What the company found, however, was that homeowners were interested in pursuing home remodeling projects.
Archadeck was founded recognizing that a deck was a remodeling project that dramatically increased the enjoyment of any home and also yielded a high return on investment.
